As everyone in the western world
knows, it’s based on the bestselling books by E.L. James and stars Jamie
Dornan as the kinky businessman Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as
his submissive lover Anastasia Steele.
Charlie Hunnam was originally set to play Grey, but backed out for still slightly mysterious reasons.
It’s not clear yet though how
sexually explicit the film will be – though producer Michael De Luca
said the film will be ‘R-rated’ – at least a 15 in the UK.
Sam Taylor-Johnson is on directing duties and the film was shot in Vancouver.
The film is released on Valentine’s Day 2015.
